Predicting Non-Markovian Superconducting-Qubit Dynamics from Tomographic Reconstruction

چکیده
Non-Markovian noise presents a particularly relevant challenge in understanding and combating decoherence quantum computers, yet is challenging to capture terms of simple models. Here we show that phenomenological dynamical model known as the post-Markovian master equation (PMME) accurately captures predicts non-Markovian superconducting qubit system. The PMME constructed using experimentally measured state dynamics an IBM Quantum Experience cloud-based processor, thus successfully observed later experiments. also allows extraction information about crosstalk measures non-Markovianity. We demonstrate definitively subsequent processor better than standard Markovian equation.

متن کاملNon-Markovian qubit decoherence during dispersive readout
We study qubit decoherence under generalized dispersive readout, i.e., we investigate a qubit coupled to a resonantly driven dissipative harmonic oscillator. We provide a complete picture by allowing for arbitrarily large qubit-oscillator detuning and by considering also a coupling to the square of the oscillator coordinate, which is relevant for flux qubits. Analytical results for the decohere...
متن کاملNon-Markovian quantum dynamics from environmental relaxation
We consider the dynamics of composite quantum systems in the particular case that the state operator relaxes towards the Born approximation. For this we augment the von Neumann equation by a relaxation operator imposing a finite relaxation time τr . Under the premise that the relaxation is the dominant process we obtain a hierarchy of non-Markovian master equations. The latter arises from an ex...
متن کاملNon-Markovian qubit dynamics in the presence of 1/f noise
Within the lowest-order Born approximation, we calculate the exact dynamics of a qubit in the presence of 1/f noise, without Markov approximation. We show that the non-Markovian qubit timeevolution exhibits asymmetries and beatings that can be observed experimentally and cannot be explained within a Markovian theory. The present theory for 1/f noise is relevant for both spinand superconducting ...
